Pip, Veronica and the Harmonica is a wonderfully illustrated children’s book that has it all.

Besides the colorful illustrations by Casey Evans, the wording rhymes, the plot is exciting, and the poodle named Pip is based on the author’s pet. Just who are Pip andVeronica, and why is there a harmonica?  Veronica lives alone, so to entertain herself, she plays her harmonica. When she gets very lonely, Pip enters the picture.

Author Ed Krinsky says, “Pip was my pet poodle. He had the habit of barking loudly whenever he heard sirens from fire engines and when I played my harmonica. I concocted the story to entertain my grandchildren while babysitting for them.”  PIP, VERONICA AND THE HARMONICA (ISBN: 978-1-62516-945-7) is now available for $13 and can be ordered through the publisher’s website:
